I love these guys! Aside from wolves and German Shepherds they are my favorite canines! The Oregon Zoo is getting them this year along with lions, caracals, cheetahs, red billed hornbills, dwarf mongooses, and the african rock python they are making a new themed section called predators of the Serengeti I like all of the animals but I mainly can't wait for the wild dogs.

For those of you that are curious here is a link to their site it says what they will be doing with it about the animals costs for the project etc...

I'm so excited it's only a few months away!!

All I've ever been able to get my hands on are crayola and the occasional prang LOL their ok but not as good as a professional set I'm guessing. Don't use them a lot though I think I've only made like two colored pencil pictures in the past year.

I'm new here didn't see a place to say hello so figured I'd introduce myself.

Here is a picture I did of an African Wild Dog aside from Wolves and German Shepherds they are my one of my favorite canines!

This was done with a point seven mechanical pencil on some cheap art paper during school a few months ago.

furs not great but I love the eyes.

 10   Commissions offers / Open For Commissions  on: Jul 5th, 2008, 11:50am

I didn't see an "Introduction" board, so I'll kill two birds with one stone.

I am currently up for commissions, and you can find samples on my web page or via here, as well as pricing information. I prefer that you send me a Note on DeviantART or an e-mail as opposed to a message here (for I don't know how often it is that I'll be online).

I am a Traditional artist 100%, but working to get a tablet so I can start working with digital media, as well. I work with watercolor, acrylic, colored pencils, and markers when available (I need to replace my missing and broken sharpies). I also work with ink (for lineart and/or ink commissions).

You can find information on my web page (click) or on my DeviantART Journal (click).

Requirements for Commission: (If you can't supply visuals, supply a detailed description please!)
-A full reference of the character(s) you want specifically or a specific design for a "random" character. Otherwise, I'll make it myself.
-For ones with back grounds, a specific background and time-of-day setting (night, day, dusk, dawn, etc.).
-Specific pose ideas (unless you want me to make them, "surprise!").
-Character personalities (this could inflict the picture in some way).
-A photograph if you want a portrait, or live animal, drawn (similar to a character reference, only with photographs).
-Your e-mail or DeviantART account name (for progress reports).
